Doors and windows used in the construction of our conservatories are manufactured using Kommerling 'Lead free' PVCu profiles which feature an industry leading 20 year colourfast guarantee. Established over a century ago, Kommerling is the first choice for architects across Europe and has been the brand leader in the design and introduction of PVCu windows for over 30 years.
The British Government’s legally binding commitment to reduce green house gases is fully supported by Kommerling. The company has undertaken an extensive testing programme to ensure all its products not only meet, but exceed the stringent requirements of Part L of the Building Regulations. In addition, Kommerling profiles are lead-free and fully degradable making them environmentally friendly.
Our Timberlook PVCu profile has been engineered to replicate traditional timber windows using a fully sculptured ovolo design but with the added feature of low-line glazing gaskets to eliminate those ugly black lines seen on other PVCu window systems.
Timberlook windows and doors have internal beading for extra security are are manufactured to British Standard Kitemarks BS 7412 and BS 7950/7412.
In addition to white finish, Timberlook windows and doors used in your new conservatory are available in a variety of foiled finishes:
Ebony black woodgrain foil is the latest addition offering a black foiled finish outside and white inside. Please note that if specified on a conservatory the conservatory roof would be supplied in a matching black paint finish.

All Affordable windows and doors are fitted with high security locking systems to protect your property against intruder attack.

All windows are fitted with the latest generation PINCER high security locking systems as standard for your security and peace of mind.
Operated by a simple turn of the handle the unique gearbox activates up to four pairs of high strength ‘mushroom pincers’ simultaneously driving each pincer into a double-sided security striker from opposite directions.
This double action locking means that any attempt to force one pincer out of its closed position merely forces the opposing pincers deeper into their strikers, strengthening rather the weakening the system’s security.
When tested to BS 7950 destruction failure occurred at a force of 7.8kn. The force applied to pass BS7950 test is between 1kn and 3kn.

All entrance doors are fitted with high security hook bolt locking as standard and French doors benefit from two handles with keyed alike locking cylinders. In addition, all doors are now fitted with our NEW CYLINDER GUARD SECURITY HANDLE which has built-in protection against snapping or pulling the locking cylinder to gain entry.
Our new Heritage Horns can be added to top opening sashes to create a traditional looking window and are often specified when replacing sliding sash windows with modern PVCu windows to retain a traditional appearance.
Our Astragal Bar mouldings provide raised mouldings for a traditional Georgian look and are an alternative to inserts that are encapsulated within the sealed unit.
