NEW Slim-Sash PVCu Bifold Doors

Our new Timberlook Slim-Sash PVCu folding sliding door has very slim sight lines when compared to most PVCu bifolding doors and they are also available in a choice of 19 different colour options including cream, black, grey and green. These ultra smooth rolling doors run on maintenance free stainless steel rollers that are concealed inside a colour matched aluminium track fitted to the frame head and threshold so the doors cannot be lifted from the track by an intruder.

Slimmer Sight Lines

Until now most PVCu folding doors have been constructed using big and bulky profiles that reduce glass sight lines and also used ugly face fixed hinges. As you can see here our new Slim-Sash upvc bifold door is manufactured using slim 60mm wide profiles that provide a glass to glass sight line of just 132mm for doors folding in the same direction and the high security hinge fixings are concealed when the door is closed.

Bring the outside inside with a folding sliding patio door

As you can see from the animation on the right our folding sliding doors are the perfect solution to opening up your home to enjoy your garden on a summer's day. On this 3 panel folding door the far left panel is the traffic door which allows normal day-to-day access from inside or outside without opening the complete door. To open this door fully you simply twist the internal handle on the meeting stile between the second and third panels releasing the shoot bolt locking system and then slide and fold the door fully open.

Folding sliding doors can be used to great affect to seperate your main house from your conservatory. To conform to building regulations this door must be an external grade door and our range of timber, aluminium or PVCu Bifold doors fit the bill perfectly as they are fully compliant with Doc L of the Building Regulations. As standard they are supplied with our Triple Shield Argon Gas Filled Low E double glazing with an exceptionally low 1.2 U value ensuring your valueable heat is retained in the winter.

Folding doors for internal use can be specified with a low threshold or a flush track so the two floor levels remain constant. Our Visofold aluminium folding door has a 30mm low threshold which can be sunk into the floor where flush floor levels are required whilst the timber and PVCu bifolding door offer the same flush track option shown here on the timber door.

A Bifold door design to suit you

Our folding sliding doors are available in many different design configurations and doors are custom made specifically to suit your requirements so you can decide how your door is configured and whether it stacks inwards or outwards. Depending on your requirements you can select a standard or low threshold and the door can be fitted directly onto brickwork or onto a choice of projecting cills.

Traffic Door Option

Many styles can be specified with a traffic door which provide a normal day to day door leaf allowing easy access to the garden without opening the whole bi-folding door up.

High Security Locking System

Our folding sliding doors are fitted with the latest high security locking. On styles supplied with a traffic door lever handles operate a high security hook-bolt locking system and a profile key cylinder allowing access from both inside and outside. Bi-fold doors supplied without a traffic door do not have external access and can only be opened from the inside by operating the shoot bolt locking system using the handles fitted to the meeting stiles of the door
